Champagne-Marinated Olive
- Ingredients:
- 8 oz Green olives (Castelvetrano best), drained
- 1/4 C Champagne vinegar
- 1/2 C EVOO (lemon or other flavored)
- 1 Tbsp Fresh orange or lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- 2 cloves Garlic, smashed
- 1 tsp Fresh rosemary or thyme
- 1/2 Bay leaf
Instructions:- Warm Marinade: Warm the olive oil, vinegar, garlic, and herbs in a pan for 3–5 minutes before pouring over the olives to boost flavor infusion
- Refrigerate: for at least 4 hours, or up to overnight.
- Serve: Bring to room temperature before serving.
