Champagne-Marinated Olive


  •     Ingredients:
    • 8 oz  Green olives (Castelvetrano best), drained
    • 1/4 C  Champagne vinegar
    • 1/2 C   EVOO (lemon or other flavored)
    • 1 Tbsp  Fresh orange or lemon zest
    • 1/2 tsp  Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
    • 2 cloves  Garlic, smashed
    • 1 tsp  Fresh rosemary or thyme
    • 1/2  Bay leaf
Instructions:
  1. Warm Marinade: Warm the olive oil, vinegar, garlic, and herbs in a pan for 3–5 minutes before pouring over the olives to boost flavor infusion
  2. Refrigerate: for at least 4 hours, or up to overnight.
  3. Serve: Bring to room temperature before serving.
