Gnocci wih Vanilla Brown Butter sauce

 


  • Ingredients:
    1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
    1 teaspoon minced garlic
    1 teaspoon brown sugar
    3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon rosemary leaves
    1/4 cup heavy cream
Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat until brown in color. Add garlic, sugar, vanilla, salt and rosemary; stir constantly for approximately 30 seconds or until garlic is fragrant and sugar is dissolved. Add pasta, spinach and hazelnuts and heat until spinach is slightly wilted.

Serve:
Serve over pasta (1 pound gnocchi) with Spinach (2 cups) and Toasted chopped hazelnuts (optional)
