Homemade Spiced Rum
Combine Ingredients and place in a cool dark location for at least 2 days. Strain with cheesecloth and bottle.
Ingredients:
750ml aged rum
2 vanilla beans
750ml aged rum

(2) 2" orange peels with no pith
1 cinnamon stick
5 all spice berries
1 clove
5 small black peppercorns
1/4 whole nutmeg grated
2 ginger slices (quarter sized)
2 cardamom pods
1/2 star anise (I don't use this)
Note: Could add a simple syrup perhaps with brown sugar to make it for sipping. Amp up vanilla flavor by adding a tsp of double fold vanilla extract
