Crispy Baked Chicken Wings
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb chicken wings cut into drumettes and flats*
2 tsp corn starch
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
2 teaspoons garlic powder
Pinch of cracked pepper
*multiply dry ingredients for each pound of wings.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Adjust oven rack to upper-middle position and preheat oven to convection 450°F (230°C). Line baking sheet with aluminum foil and place wire cooling rack on top.
- Pat dry chicken wings liberally with paper towels, squeezing out as much moisture as you can. Transfer them to a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, combine the corn starch, garlic powder, salt and pepper together, whisking well to combine, and sprinkle the mixture over the wings. Toss wings through the corn starch mixture until evenly coated.
- Arrange on rack, leaving a space between.
- Bake for 20 minutes; flip and continue to cook until crisp and golden brown, (about 20-25 minutes longer), until golden browned and crispy.
Dress with favorite flavors, Buffalo, Sesame Ginger, Garlic and Parmesan
