Cindy Stack's Kitchen Cherry Yum-Yum

Ingredients:

Crust:
2 sleeves graham crackers coarsely broken
3⁄4 cup  butter, melted
3 Tbsp sugar

Filling:
8 ounces  cream cheese, softened
1 cup  sugar
1 teaspoon  vanilla
1 (16 ounce) carton Cool Whip
1 (16 ounce) can cherry pie filling (or other 16 ounce pie filling flavor)

Directions:

Combine cracker, margarine and sugar. Keep it chunky.   Line bottom of 9 x 13" pan with crumb mixture.

Blend cream cheese, sugar and vanilla together. Fold in whipped cream and blend. Spread on crumbs.

Top with fruit pie filling. Refrigerate.

Note:  Add roasted walnuts to crust for an option.
